WE EXIST TO SEE JESUS TAKEOVER PEOPLES LIVES
JESUS DIDN'T COME TO "TAKE PART" IN OUR LIVES, JESUS CAME TO TAKEOVER OUR LIVES. Jesus didn’t come and leave the world, the cities, and the people He encountered the same as He found them. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is FREEDOM.
WHY TAKEOVER CHURCH
WE EXIST TO SEE JESUS TAKEOVER PEOPLES LIVES! AS JESUS FOLOWERS, AS CHRISTIANS; We are here to see the Holy Spirit, the presence of God; Takeover. WHERE WE GO AS JESUS FOLLOWERS, HIS LIGHT GOES. AND WHERE HIS LIGHT GOES, DARKNESS CANNOT REMAIN. WE ARE HERE TO SEE HEARTS AND SOULS COME ALIVE IN THIS CITY. WE'RE HERE TO KICK THE DEVIL IN THE TEETH AND SHINE THE LIGHT AND LOVE OF JESUS. If this City is hidden in the Dark, then we will WORK TO SEE JESUS take it over with Light.
JESUS IS OUR MESSAGE
The purpose of Takeover Church is to share the hope of Jesus. Jesus is our message. We are Jesus people, not religious people. Methods will come and go, but our message will remain the same; Jesus.
PEOPLE ARE OUR HEART
people are our heart. Why? Because God's heart is for people. God gave His Son for people. In His time on earth people were loved by Jesus, and in His time in Heaven people are still loved by Jesus. We make no apologies for being very specific on reaching those far from God. We will pursue them at all cost.
THE PRESENCE OF GOD IS OUR SPIRIT
WE ARE COMITTED TO SEEING THE HOLY SPIRIT, THE PRESENCE OF GOD RULE AND REIGN IN EVERY CHURCH MEETING, SERVICE, SERVE NIGHT, AND LIFE CREW WE HOST. THE PRESENCE OF GOD INTERRUPTING MOMENTS TO SEE JESUS TAKEOVER LIVES. WHERE TWO OR MORE GATHER IN HIS NAME, THERE HE IS IN THEIR MIDST. WE'RE COMITTED TO WELCOMING GOD INTO OUR MIDST.
DISCIPLESHIP IS OUR CONVICTION
Jesus made it clear in the call of every Christian called the Great Commission, that it is not enough to simply make converts, in order for the people of this City to be and do all that God has made them for and called them to. We must create Disciples; our Faith must SHAPE our lives SO WE CAN LOOK MORE LIKE JESUS.
GOD'S KIDS IS OUR IDENTITY
WE'RE GODS CHILDREN. WE'RE CREATED IN HIS IMAGE. WHAT HE HAS HAS BEEN MADE AVAILABLE TO US. LIKE JESUS WE'RE COMITTED TO DOING WHAT WE'VE SEEN GOD DO. WE'RE COMITTED TO SAYING WHAT GOD HAS SAID. WE'RE OUR FATHERS CHILDREN, AND IF HE HAS MADE WHAT IS HIS AVAILABLE TO US, WE HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO PURSUE IT, ASK, SEEK, AND KNOCK FOR IT.
REVIVAL IS OUR PURSUIT
Everything we do, we do in pursuit of REVIVAL. From our worship to our service, we do it with the Holy Spirit, seeking the presence of God above all else. This Passion for Revival drives us; Passion for Jesus, Passion for People, and Passion for the Church.
